About Javid Art Gallery

Javid Gallery began its professional activity in 2018 with a focus on contemporary Iranian art and has since evolved into one of the dynamic and influential spaces within the country’s art ecosystem. Over the years, the gallery has hosted a significant number of solo and group exhibitions featuring master artists, established figures, and emerging talents, organizing on average more than 20 exhibitions annually.

Supporting young and talented artists is a cornerstone of Javid Gallery’s approach. In this spirit, the “Blue Wall” section was established as an independent space running concurrently with the main hall exhibitions. This platform is dedicated to introducing and highlighting emerging artists, offering them a professional opportunity to enter the serious field of contemporary Iranian art.

Each year, Javid Gallery organizes several open calls for exhibitions centered on creative and research-based themes. Beyond discovering new talents, these calls foster interaction, dialogue, and collaboration among artists, researchers, and art enthusiasts, playing a vital role in shaping a vibrant community around contemporary art.

Throughout its years of activity, Javid Gallery has built a sustainable network of audiences, collectors, and art buyers, enabling it to play a meaningful role in artists’ professional journeys and to initiate positive opportunities and developments for them.

Javid Gallery is directed by Alireza Javid, a practicing painter with an academic background in Art Research. This combination of hands-on artistic experience and a research-oriented perspective has shaped a conscious and in-depth approach to the gallery’s exhibition policies and programming.

Additionally, by incorporating its courtyard and outdoor spaces, Javid Gallery offers a unique and multilayered experience of encountering art—an environment that softens the boundaries between exhibition, dialogue, and artistic life, transforming the gallery into a living space for experiencing art.
